☕📚 Poetry Café in Third Grade! 📚☕

Today our classroom transformed into a cozy Poetry Café, and what a wonderful time we had! Students spent the day reading, enjoying, and rating a variety of poems. From silly and rhythmic to thoughtful and heartfelt, we explored so many different styles and voices.

After reading together, students shared their opinions with classmates, practicing respectful discussion and thoughtful listening. It was amazing to hear them explain why they liked certain poems and what made them stand out!

To make things even more exciting, we created a bracket and voted bracket-style to determine our class favorite poem. The friendly competition had everyone cheering for their top picks!

Of course, no café would be complete without snacks 🍪—and enjoying treats while talking about poetry made the experience even more special.

We are so proud of our third graders for their enthusiasm, thoughtful conversations, and love of reading. Poetry truly came to life today! 💛✏️
