Welcome back to another exciting school year at Crystal River Primary! As the proud principal of CRPS, I am thrilled to extend my warmest greetings to our students and their families. It is with great anticipation that we embark on a journey of growth, learning, and success together.

Communication is a cornerstone of a thriving school community, and we emphasize its importance here at CRPS. Clear and effective communication between students, parents, and staff is vital to ensure everyone is well-informed and engaged in the educational process. We encourage open lines of communication through weekly updates, newsletters, and various communication channels. Each Sunday at 6 p.m., I will send a call out and email to provide an overview of the upcoming week. Please be sure your phone number and email address are current in Skyward to ensure you receive the weekly messages. Together, let's create a supportive environment where questions are answered, concerns are addressed, and achievements are celebrated.

To foster a positive and productive learning environment, we believe in setting clear and consistent expectations. This includes academic standards, behavior guidelines, and respectful interactions. By clearly articulating and modeling these expectations, we provide a foundation for students to flourish academically and socially. We aim to equip our students with the skills necessary for success both within and beyond the classroom.

Regular attendance is crucial for students to maximize their learning potential. We strongly encourange all families to prioritize attendance and be sure students arrive punctually eachday. Instruction is happening "bell-to-bell" at CRPS. Our teachers are teaching, and students are learning from 9:20-3:35. Attending school regularly and remaining in attendance for the full day not only enhances academic progress but also fosters a sense of responsibility and commitment. We appreciate the partnership of parents in promoting regular attendance and understanding the value it holds in shaping a successful educational journey.

We firmly believe that parental involvement is key to the success of our students and our school. We encourage parents to actively engage in their child's education by attending parent-teacher conferences, volunteering, and participating in school activities. If you are interested in becoming a classroom volunteer, please let us know as we are happy to assist with the process. When parents and educators work together, we create a united front that supports our students' growth and development holistically.
