Christina Touchton

Christina Touchton has served as Principal of Crystal River Primary School since November 2022. Prior to becoming principal, she served as an Assistant Principal at both the middle and elementary school levels beginning in 2015. With 22 years of experience in education, she has dedicated her career to supporting students, strengthening instructional practices, and building the capacity of educators.

Mrs. Touchton earned her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Saint Leo University and her master’s degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education in 2011.

A lifelong member of the Crystal River community, Mrs. Touchton attended Crystal River Primary School as a child and continued through the Crystal River schools, graduating from Crystal River High School in 1998. She and her husband both grew up in Citrus County and are proud to call the community home. Together, they have four children, all graduates of Crystal River High School.

For Mrs. Touchton, serving as principal of the school where her own educational journey began is a meaningful opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape her.
