Dear CRPS Families,

We are excited to invite parents to become voting members of the Crystal River Primary School Advisory Council (SAC) for the 2025–2026 school year. The SAC plays an important role in shaping the vision and direction of our school by providing input on academic programs, school improvement initiatives, and the allocation of resources to best support student achievement. This group ensures that the voices of parents, staff, and community members are represented in decisions that impact the success of all Bear Cubs.

Our SAC Meetings are held in the Media Center at 4:15on the following dates:

• September 30th
• November 13th 
• February 17th 
• April 21st

This year, we have three openings for parent representatives on the SAC. As a voting member, your attendance is required at each of the four SAC meetings scheduled throughout the year. Consistent attendance is vital, as a quorum must be established in order to hold votes and move forward with school initiatives.

If you would like to be considered for one of these parent representative roles, please complete the following Intent Form no later than 9/19/25. Should we have an abundance of interest, selection will move to a vote by our parent stakeholder group to ensure fair representation. Your participation will help guide our school’s progress and strengthen the important partnership between home, school, and community.
